Pure Telecom Acquires Ildana Teoranta for €1.2 Million

Dublin -- ElectricNews.net reports that Pure Telecom, an Ireland-
based provider of fixed-line voice and Internet services to SMEs,
has acquired Ildana Teoranta, a local satellite Internet service
provider (ISP), for approximately €1.2 million in cash and shares.
The deal will allow Pure Telecom to offer a number of data-
intensive services by satellite, including Internet telephony, virtual
private networks (VPNs), business continuity services and disaster
recovery services. Ildana Teoranta will continue to operate under
its own name, Pure Telecom said.
