Qualcomm Appoints Andrew Gilbert as Europe President

London -- Qualcomm, a U.S.-based developer of CDMA-technology
products, announced that it has appointed Andrew Gilbert as
president of Qualcomm Europe in London. Gilbert has more than 25
years of experience in sales, marketing and general management.
Prior to joining Qualcomm, he served as vice president and general
manager of Flarion Europe, the local subsidiary of Flarion, which
Qualcomm acquired in January. Gilbert replaces Pertti Johansson,
who has been appointed as president of Qualcomm Middle East and
Africa.
