London -- Narrowstep, a U.K.-based provider
of streaming Internet
TV channels, announced that it has raised approximately £4.2
million ($7.4 million) through a private placement of its shares with
investors. Narrowstep delivers video content over the Internet
through its TelVOS platform. The company has launched more
than 70 channels for customers including U.K. broadcaster ITV,
the Torino 2006 Paralympic Winter Games, Sail.tv, London TV and
Cycling.tv. Proceeds from the placement will be used to fund the
company's business plan and future growth.
